That was awfully kind
The Prodigal Son just popped in to say he was going to spend the night at a friend's house and he was impressed by how far I'd gotten with the sock. I said that I really liked this pattern and he very graciously offered to let me make this pair of socks for myself if I really wanted them. Wasn't that just too awfully kind?

I won't tell you how long he's been wearing the blue socks, but they can almost stand up on their own.

Well, he's got to let you have some otherwise you will stop knitting for him! The color looks great!
They are much prettier in person. I take awful pictures. Comes from trying to do them at night while fighting off cats who have to help.
